Site analytics
BARUGA records page views and tool activity counts to help its owner monitor usage and reliability. Random browser and visit identifiers estimate traffic. Analytics records contain only an approved page path, product, event type, time, response status and country-level network location supplied by the hosting provider. They exclude names, prompts, document contents, signatures, IP addresses, cities, precise locations and URL query strings. Analytics reports are restricted to the owner and cover up to 90 days. Browser identifiers expire after 90 days, visits expire after 30 minutes of inactivity, and tracking respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Privacy by design
BARUGA separates Personal Work, institutional workspaces, and each module’s Learning Library. Access is tied to the signed-in account and, for institutional BO, the verified institutional workspace. Users should upload only information they are authorized to process.
Documents and Learning Libraries
Files intentionally uploaded to a Learning Library are stored securely so they remain available to the signed-in user. File names, folder paths, file types, sizes and upload dates are retained with the document. Users can download or delete individual items from the library.
Linked device folders
Folder linking is optional and supported only by compatible browsers. BARUGA requests read access through the browser’s permission controls. It does not silently monitor a device or refresh a folder in the background. Files are checked only when the user selects Link device folder or Refresh folder. Device files are never edited or deleted by BARUGA.
AI processing
When a user asks BARUGA to analyze, draft or generate content, the relevant prompt, supplied text and necessary workspace context may be sent to the configured AI service. Users should not submit classified information, special-category personal data, passwords, private keys or information prohibited by their organization.
Retention, deletion and security
Information is retained while needed to provide the service, meet security and billing obligations, or comply with law. Library items can be deleted within the product. Users may request access, correction or deletion of account information, subject to lawful retention requirements. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Institutional responsibility
Institutions remain responsible for authorized users, lawful processing grounds, retention periods, confidentiality classifications and any required data-processing agreement. BARUGA should not replace an organization’s records-management or legal-approval process.
Travel Planner
Travel preparation uses route, date and passenger-count preferences. Do not enter payment-card or passport information. Quick preparation runs in your browser. If you choose BARUGA AI, your trip description is sent to BARUGA’s existing AI service under your account allowance; the Travel feature does not save the raw description.
When you choose Search live flights after partner activation, search details are shared with Travelpayouts and its embedded search may use cookies. Search parameters can appear in the page URL and browser history. Airlines and agencies handle payments, ticket issuance, cancellations and refunds under their own privacy and booking terms. BARUGA may receive an affiliate commission.
Hotel preparation runs in your browser. When you choose to compare hotels, your destination, dates, adult and room counts and preferred currency are sent to Booking.com in a new tab. Your budget and amenity checklist are not sent or automatically applied. Search parameters may appear in browser history. BARUGA records hotel preparation and outbound-search event counts without the destination, dates or guest details. Booking.com and the property handle reservations, payment and personal information under their own terms.
Where available, a Stay22 hotel map loads only when you choose Load hotel map. It shares your destination, dates, adults, rooms and currency with Stay22, whose map may use cookies and affiliate tracking. Expedia Group affiliate links, when activated, open the approved partner page and use the provider’s tracking. BARUGA may earn commission on eligible partner bookings; direct Booking.com links are not affiliated unless you enable Stay22 link optimization.
The optional Stay22 recommendation script runs only on the Travel Planner after you select Enable Stay22. It can process travel-page content, optimize supported booking links, and enable Stay22’s Spark and Nova recommendations, cookies and affiliate tracking. Consent is not remembered across page reloads. Turn off and reload stops the script for the new page load; this does not delete cookies already set by Stay22. The script is not installed in private BO, PI or OI workspaces.
Traffic reporting retains only a fixed source label, such as Google, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or direct, inferred from an approved campaign label or referring hostname. Full referring URLs, search queries and arbitrary campaign text are not stored. Existing privacy signals continue to disable optional analytics.

Official vacancy links lead to third-party sites whose privacy terms apply after leaving BARUGA.
